I loved this book! I thought it was written very smart, and it provoked thought. I didn't feel like the book was written as a "middle finger" to her past, but more as therapy for her future! I have daughters, and I see nothing wrong with our kids learning from our mistakes, and I really believe that this woman is smart enough to figure out with her daughters, whom she know better than anyone, when that time is appropriate. I am looking forward to Volume 2!Product details

The Vixen Chronicles is an honest and daring account of one woman's quest for true love. The author gives us a look at her past and how it has affected her recent relationships with men. The book is a series of memoirs of dating experiences told in a fearless way that leaves the reader laughing, and feeling sad for the author at the same time. How can one person experience so much drama? The book is a very quick read and will have you turning the pages, anxious to hear more.
It is appalling that this random collection of sexcapades is somehow skewed in Brandi's mind to be a positive image. Anyone with the slightest bit of intelligence or self respect would not be upholding and praising such a lifestyle to women, let alone their own children. As a person who grew up in O'Neill, yes Brandi, I know you and apparently your judgement has not improved. Who brings a perfect stranger into their home with thier young children sleeping in the next room just so she can get off??? This book was written to "enlighten" women, you wanted to share all your hard found "wisom?" when in fact nothing in this book could be taken for anything more than your glorified attempt at shocking others and making your bad choices the center of attention.
It is women like you who make it impossible for women to overcome the stereotypes and the sexist issues we have been struggling with since before women's sufferage.
I had a friend recommend this book to me and I'm glad she did as I felt I could really relate to the author's struggles with dating and abuse. It also reminded me of all the WTF moments I've had over the years with dating and a failed marriage. The book is extremely well written mixing in comedy along with the author's life lessons learned. I would recommend it to anybody who wants to better their relationship tactics and decisions.
I thought this book was amazing and it hit home with me because I am an abuse survivor as well, and I understand everything that the writer was going through then and is going through now in her rollercoaster life. I would definitely recommend this book because I think women can relate to these situations and it makes us feel better that we're not the only ones out there that had to go through a miserable amount of dead beat toads to find our wonderful prince charming.
Wasted my $0.12! Supposedly a tell-all but more of a rambling about someone's extremely poor life choices. Blames her past for her present issues yet tries to claim how she's pulled herself through this. Also, makes claims about how she owns a business, etc. but when you look it up it isn't true.
Read it in an afternoon, laughed a few times...yawned a few. It's a decent read but not worth the $9 I spent.
